Hello Cholent Friends. đ
I hate to go more than one week without a post. Two weeks and guilt seeps in. Three is just a straight up shanda. Does anyone notice? As someone said to me, âI like to think thereâs an old man out there angry that he didnât get this weekâs Cholent.â
Well, two holidays weeks in a row plus my first case of strep throat in 30 years, distractingly warm weather, and the weird way time speeds up at the end of the school year when it is supposed to slow downâŠitâs been a tough month.
Itâs not for want of Jewish stuff happening in the area.
Last Sunday I (and you, you, you, and you) hauled out to Kirkland (of all places!) to see Modi. Gawd, wasnât it cathartic to laugh at Jewish jokes? That were actually by a Jew?
Anyway, I just wanted to check in and let you know that a lot of great content is coming up. So if youâre the proverbial (or literal) old man cursing at his inbox because The Cholent failed to land again this week, please, donât cancel your $5/month subscription. The Cholent will be back with fresh content soon. Actually, now would be a good time to sign up for a $5/month subscription. Thanks for your support.
