This was a nice read and brought back many wondeful rich holiday memories. Regardless of beliefs, ethnicity, or culture, to me, the holidays most importantly represent a time of family get togethers and celebration. The music, lights, and festive foods enhance the holiday experience. Nativity scenes, Santa Claus, christmas trees, eight candles, and othe religiously tilted activities add to this rich tapestry of celebration. Enjoy the holidays and whatever traditions you wish to observe. Kids will remember them fondly, just as I had.
